The vanilla ROG Phone comes in Rebel Grey and Phantom Black colors while the ROG Phone 8 Pro is available only in Phantom Black and contains a micro LED dot matrix display on the back. The ROG Phone 8 introduces a new look, signaling the beginning of a new generation of ASUS ROG Phone products. ASUS states that the main focus of this third generation is to address the main complaints and wishes of ROG Phone users. Notably, the camera department has received significant upgrades this year. Additionally, the ROG Phone 8 has added Qi wireless charging, IP68 ingress protection, and other features to enhance the gaming experience.

Moving on to the unboxing of the ultimate ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition, it comes with the AeroActive Cooler X bundled and has a luxurious retail packaging. For those opting for the Pro Edition package, accessories include the AeroActive Cooler X, a carrying pouch, a black plastic hard case, a braided USB Type-C to Type-C cable, and a ROG-branded 65W PPS PD charger. The basic ROG Phone 8 also comes with a plastic case matching the phone’s color, a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, and a 65W charger.
