The Honda Accord has been the flagship model from Honda since 1970 and continues to be popular among young people for its enduring appeal and sporty nature. The CL9 was first introduced in 2002 and remained in production until 2008. Even after two decades, this sedan remains a popular choice for those looking to maintain a sense of luxury. Let’s delve into its specifications in this blog post.
Honda Accord-Overview
The CL9 and CL7 were two variants of the Accord that were introduced simultaneously. The CL9 came with a 2400cc engine, while the CL7 had a 2000cc engine. Their predecessor model was the CF3, which was discontinued in 2002.
Interior and Exterior

The side profile showcased multi-spoke 17-inch rims, chrome handles, and indicators integrated with side mirrors. The rear profile exuded a sporty vibe with dual exhausts, slim headlights, and Accord emblems. Additionally, it featured retractable mirrors, multi-media steering, dual-zone climate control, and two airbags.

Basically, the owner, Daniyal, was initially looking for a Honda Reborn but ended up choosing the CL9 for its cleaner look in used cars, as he wanted a sedan for his family.
Fuel Economy and Maintenance
The CL9 had a poor fuel economy of 7 Km/L due to its larger engine, and maintenance costs were higher at around Rs. 12,000 for every 5,000 Km, including oil and filter changes.
Honda Accord CL9 Used Price
It is priced at PKR 25 Lacs, making it a decent choice for those seeking luxury and style on a budget. However, if fuel economy is a priority, the Toyota Mark X is a better option.
