German, American, and Japanese automakers have traditionally dominated the conventional engine market. However, in the realm of electric vehicles, Chinese manufacturers led by BYD are rapidly challenging Tesla’s dominance.
In a recent, Changan-backed Deepal revealed the interior of its crossover S05 and L07 sedan before their launch. Interestingly, Changan Pakistan has recently revealed both cars in a private event which is considered as the pre-launch event. Anyhow, below are the details flaunting the cabin of S07 and L07.
Deepal L07
Starting with L07, the car’s interior competes with the likes of the existing SL03 sedan. Comparing both vehicles, L07 prioritizes intelligent features, while the SL03 emphasizes sporty performance. Both models will be available for purchase simultaneously. The noticeable features of the sedan are:
- 15.6-inch infotainment screen
- Augmented reality head-up display
- Additional LCD instrument panel
- Three-spoke steering rail
- Dual wireless mobile phone charging pad
- Pair of drink holders
Also, the company offers two interior color combinations including black with reddish brown hue and blue with a beige hue.
Deepal S05
Initially, S05’s interior was revealed in spy shot with no ample details. Whereas, official images have disclosed all the features offered in the car. It boasts two tone cabin exhibiting brown and black color scheme. Moreover, other features include:
- Large floating screen
- Two wireless phone charging pads
- Pair of cup holders
- D-shaped three spoke steering wheel
- No conventional instrument cluster – head-up display
- Button instead of door handles
- Air vents in second row
- Two USB ports
- Centre Headrest
The Deepal S05 comes in two variants. The pure electric version boasts a 238-horsepower electric motor powered by a 56.12 kWh LFP battery, offering a range of 510 kilometers and weighing 1,720 kilograms.
The range-extended electric (EREV) variant features a 218-horsepower electric motor supported by 17.08 to 27.28 kWh LFP batteries, delivering a range of 100 to 150 kilometers. This version also includes a 98-horsepower gasoline engine and weighs 1,497 kilograms.
