Verizon has introduced a new feature where you can add a second phone number to your phone for an additional $10 per month.
Known as Second Number, this option is straightforward, but keep in mind that if you sign up after June 5th, the price will be $15 per month once the $10 promotional pricing expires. With this plan, you’ll get unlimited talk and text in the US, Mexico, and Canada on your new, Second Number. Data services will still come from your primary line, so there is no separate data allowance for the second number.
This feature is compatible with Dual SIM devices, whether they have physical Dual SIM slots or support for eSIM in a single physical SIM slot. When you upgrade to a new device with these capabilities, your Second Number will automatically transfer over.
This option is open to all new and existing Verizon consumer postpaid customers, both online and in-store. It’s especially useful for those with “side gigs”, those replacing landlines, or those wanting a dedicated family number. Now, there’s no need for a second phone, and the additional cost each month is minimal.
