In January, Motorola released a list of smartphones that are set to receive the Android 14 update. The Edge 40, which debuted last year, was included in this list. After some delay, the update has finally started rolling out to Edge 40 devices in India. It’s better late than never, right?

According to reports, the stable Android 14 update is now being distributed in batches to Edge 40 units in India. This update will require a 1.49GB download, so ensure that you have a fast network connection when downloading it.

Once the update is installed, your device will be on build U1TL34.115-13, and it will also include the security patches from March 1, 2024. Keep in mind that it may take some time for the update to reach all eligible devices.
