Samsung has officially scheduled the Galaxy S24 Ultra to be unveiled on January 17, in addition to the S24 and S24+. According to reports, this will be Samsung’s best phone.
This will mark the third time that Samsung will be using the Galaxy S22 Ultra shell, but we can expect improvements in almost every aspect. Here’s a look at what we can expect based on the circulating rumors and leaks.
Titanium frame
Similar to Apple’s Pro and Pro Max models, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a titanium alloy in its frame to reduce weight. This is a durable and lightweight material that is expected to cut down the weight by a significant amount.

Samsung will be releasing the S24 Ultra in four colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Violet, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Yellow. Additional exclusive online colors are also expected to be available from Samsung’s retail store.
Flat, bright display
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a flat display with a brighter 2,600 nits. The 6.8-inch 1440x3088px 1-120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ panel will be similar to the previous model.

S Pen
The S Pen is expected to be a key feature of the S24 Ultra, although details about any improvements or changes to the pen itself are still unknown.

The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will be universally used across the world for the S24 Ultra, along with various improvements and AI features.
Thanks to the new chipset, the S24 Ultra will have AI-optimized main camera photos as well as enhanced night mode capabilities.
Battery and charging
The S24 Ultra will feature a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging capabilities.
Emergency texts via satellite
In a unique feature, the S24 Ultra is expected to come with emergency texting via satellite support over the 3GPP standard.
Pricing
Pricing for the S24 Ultra will start at €1,449 for the 12/256GB configuration and go up to €1,809 for the 12GB/1TB option.
