Apple unveiled the Vision Pro in June, but the official pre-sales in the US only began last week. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimates that Apple has sold 160,000 to 180,000 units of the Vision Pro, which is now out of stock and with shipping estimates set for 5-7 weeks.

Apple estimated to have sold up to 180,000 Vision Pro units during pre-order

While the initial demand is strong, Kuo expects it to decrease once the early adopters receive their orders. Estimated shipping times did not change in the two days following the Vision Pro’s pre-orders, which is unusual for other Apple devices like the iPhone, where demand continues to grow and shipping estimates gradually extend.

Looking ahead, Kuo expects Apple to ship 500,000 units of the Vision Pro by the end of the year.
