The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is scheduled from June 10 to June 14 this year. Typically, Apple announces new versions of its operating systems on the first day of WWDC. This year, we anticipate the launch of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, as well as updates to watchOS, tvOS, macOS, and visionOS.
Although the WWDC will be held online, developers and students have the opportunity to attend a special event at Apple Park on June 10. This event will include watching the keynote, meeting with Apple team members, and engaging in special activities. Limited spots are available, with details on participation found here, where attendance needs to be requested.
For those unable to attend in person, the online event is open to everyone free of charge. Apple will offer developers exclusive access to experts, new tools, frameworks, and features to enhance their apps and games during the event.
There will be video sessions and opportunities to connect with Apple designers, engineers, and the global developer community. Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, expressed enthusiasm about the event:
We’re thrilled to engage with developers globally for an exciting week of technology and community at WWDC24. WWDC aims to inspire new ideas and empower developers with innovative tools to enhance their creations.
