Aditya Prateek Singh, aka Badshah, professionally known as a Bollywood rapper and songwriter, found himself in legal hot waters after getting penalized for ₹15,500 (PKR 50,840).

According to Indian media, the police imposed the fine after rapper’s convoy involving three cars found driving on the wrong side of the road.

Officials aware of the matter stated that traffic police have issued ticket to one of three vehicles, Mahindra Thar, which was reportedly being driven by the rapper. Police have also started making efforts to trace the other two vehicles, a Scorpio and a Mercedes.

Reports suggest that the rapper’s convoy was en route to a concert in Gurugram on Sunday, where he had to perform with another music sensation, Karan Aujla (Indo-Canadian singer and rapper).

The Gurugram police took swift action and issued a challan against the rapper for violating the Motor Vehicle (MV) Act. Under the MV Act 2019, driving on the wrong side of the road is a serious offense that can result in hefty fines and even imprisonment.
