Despite previous reports of HMD distancing themselves from the Nokia brand, their press release for MWC 2024 suggests otherwise, stating, “You’ll continue to see Nokia phones…”. It appears that the discontinuation of Nokia may not be immediate, as HMD teased the upcoming release of another Nokia device in May 2024, which appears to be another retro “candy bar” style device. Exciting news for Nokia fans!
Furthermore, two HMD-branded smartphones are expected to be launched in July, with no further details available at this time.
