If you think the Galaxy S24 wasn’t a big enough upgrade, consider the Galaxy S23 – which comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset instead of an Exynos. You can find it on Amazon UK for £600 (after a £150 voucher) for an 8/256GB unit, saving a significant amount of money compared to the S24.
However, before making a decision, take a look at the Galaxy S24. Priced at £810 for the same 8/256GB configuration (after a £50 voucher), and it comes with a free pair of Galaxy Buds2 Pro (worth around £200) and a Galaxy SmartTag2 (£22 or so).
The Samsung Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra have similar deals with Buds2 Pro and SmartTag2, except their vouchers are £100.
Another option is the Galaxy A25. This mid-range device runs on the old Exynos 1280 and features a 6.5” 120Hz AMOLED display (FHD+), a 50+8+2MP camera setup, microSD slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging.
If you’re not interested in the Galaxy S23, consider the Nothing Phone (2). While it comes with an older Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, it features a 6.7” FHD+ 120Hz LTPO display, a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 4,700mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
The see-through design of the phone is best matched with the Nothing Ear (2), which offers a comfortable fit but with disappointing audio quality and noise cancellation, as well as a lackluster battery life.
There’s also a deal for a Google Pixel 7a bundled with a 30W charger. Priced at £330, the Pixel 7a features a 6.1” 90Hz AMOLED display (FHD+) and a 50+13MP camera, though the charging speeds are slower compared to other options.
The Honor 90 Lite is another mid-ranger, boasting a larger 6.7” 90Hz IPS LCD display, a 100MP main camera, and a Dimensity 6020 chipset. It also has a 4,500mAh battery with 35W charging support.
The upgraded Honor 90 features a 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera, and a 10-bit 120Hz AMOLED display (1,200 x 2,664px). It also has a larger 5,000mAh battery with faster 66W charging support.
If you’re in the market for a new tablet, consider the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+, both of which feature 90Hz IPS LCD displays and powerful batteries. They both come with an S Pen and are rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.
For a more affordable tablet option, consider the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 with an 8.7” LCD display (1,340 x 800px), a Helio G99 chip, microSD slot, and stereo speakers. However, it comes with a smaller, slower 5,100mAh battery with only 15W charging support.
