The Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 are set to be revealed on March 11, but a Belgian telecom company has unintentionally leaked details about the Galaxy A55 on its website, including a full specs sheet and a few official images.
Although most of the specifications were already known, this leak provides the most concrete confirmation. Let’s revisit the specs listed on the website.
Powered by an Exynos 1480 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, the device also supports expandable storage of up to 1TB via a microSD card. Previous rumors suggested a possibility of 12GB RAM.
The Galaxy A55 features a slightly larger 6.6″ OLED display compared to the A54, with a centered punch-hole design for the selfie camera.
The camera setup remains unchanged from the Galaxy A54, featuring a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide shooter, and 5MP macro camera. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera.
Despite retaining the 5,000 mAh battery capacity, the Galaxy A55 will come with Android 14 pre-installed.
With this leaked information, much of what would have been unveiled during the Samsung event is now known, leaving only pricing details to be revealed. Stay tuned for more updates soon.
