Changan Pakistan has unveiled an enhanced engine for the MPV, Changan Karvaan Plus variant. The 1.2L EA-12, 14 DOHC engine generates 96.5hp and 119 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
In a recent social media post, the car manufacturer announced: “The new 1200cc engine offers 42% more power and 20% improved fuel efficiency.” Additionally, a company representative informed PakWheels.com that “The upgraded engine provides higher speeds at lower rpm. The enhanced transmission ensures smoother gear shifts, a more fuel-efficient drive, and reduced cabin noise.”
