The electric vehicle revolution is gaining momentum in Pakistan with the introduction of rechargeable electric bikes, cars, and scooters from brands like MG, Yadea, Toyota, and Seres Huazi Green Energy. Their new series ‘Cool I’ will offer compact EVs priced under 4 million, competing against models like Rinco Aria EV and GiGi EV. This makes electric vehicles more affordable than ever.

Pak-China Huazi Green Energy Electric Cars Project update
According to Gwadar Pro and the CEO of Huazi Green Energy Pvt. Ltd, the project for mini electric cars will be carried out in two phases, targeting the middle and lower classes of Pakistan. The company has already acquired land in Hattar Special Economic Zone in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to develop the plant infrastructure.
The company plans to start deliveries in mid-2024, with a gradual technology transfer over the next two to five years. This USD 5 million project with Pak-China collaboration will also allow Pakistan to export these mini EVs to Turkey and Europe.
Specifications
These mini EVs will come in four variants, with a driving range of 128 Km to 219 Km. They will also feature alloy wheels, power steering, sporty seats, navigational side mirrors, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD). Additionally, the cars will include a lithium battery with a warranty of 100,000 Km or 4 years.
