Recently, the Samsung Galaxy A25 and A15 5G were released in the US and have already received their first discounts. The A25 offers 4 major OS updates and up to 5 years of security patches, all for just $265. While some Android phones may offer more updates, they usually come at a higher cost.
With the A25, you get a 6.5” FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, the Exynos 1280 chipset with 5G capability, 128GB of storage with a microSD slot, a 50+8+2MP camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, on the other hand, gets 3 major OS updates and 4 years of patches, still surpassing most phones in its price range. It shares similarities with the A25 but with some downgrades. For example, the display is a 6.5” FHD+ AMOLED running at 90Hz, the Dimensity 6100+ chipset is slightly slower, and the ultra wide camera has a 5MP sensor.
For comparison, the OnePlus Nord N30 is priced similarly to the A25 but with more limited update support. It only offers one major OS update and 3 years of patches. The Nord N30 features an IPS LCD panel, a 6.72” FHD+ 120Hz display, a 108MP main camera, and a Snapdragon 695 chipset that can’t record 4K video.
An interesting deal recently was the price drop of the Apple iPad (2022), now starting at $350 for the 64GB model. Despite its age, this tablet features a USB-C port, Apple A14 chip, and stellar long-term software support.
Another device to consider is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) at $200, just slightly higher than the Galaxy Tab A9+. With DeX support and upcoming OS updates, it remains a relevant choice in the tablet market.
The Apple Watch Series 9 received a price drop as well, making it a more attractive purchase starting at $320. Additionally, the Apple Watch Ultra 2, though still pricey, is currently $50 off its regular price with cellular connectivity and various band options.
