In the previous week, we highlighted the discounts on unlocked Galaxy S24 flagships – the S24+ was priced at $850 and the S24 Ultra at $1,150. These deals are still active, but they did not include the standard Galaxy S24.
For those interested in the smallest Samsung flagship, the Galaxy S24 starts at $750. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage (not the 12/256GB configuration like the other models). While there is no option for 12GB of RAM, you can opt for 256GB storage at $810. However, this is only $50 less than the 12/256GB S24+.
You can find the same offer on Amazon and Best Buy, so you can choose your preferred retailer.
While exploring Best Buy, we also came across some iPad deals. The Apple iPad (2022) may feature the older Apple A14 chipset, but it comes with a modern USB-C port (supporting DisplayPort). The A14 chip delivers impressive performance, especially when compared to Android tablets in the same price range. The 10.9” 60Hz IPS LCD screen is compatible with a 1st gen Apple Pencil.
For those seeking more power, the Apple iPad Air (2022) with the M1 chip is available for $100 more. While the tablet maintains most of the same features, including the 60Hz LCD screen (now supporting 2nd gen Pencils), Apple does not offer a 128GB storage option for this model.
Apple has not released an updated version of the iPad mini since 2021. Priced at $400 for the 64GB model, it may seem steep, but options for small tablets are limited.
Another budget-friendly option is the iPad 10.2 from 2021, priced at $250 for the 64GB model. This tablet serves well as a beginner device for kids or for casual browsing and streaming. However, the 256GB model at $400 does not offer significant value compared to the newer 2022 model.
For those leaning towards a Windows tablet, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 is available at $450 for the 8/128GB model. Powered by the Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y processor, this tablet features a 10.5” FHD+ LCD display with necessary ports and slots.
Returning to Apple products, we previously discussed MacBook deals. Now, let’s shift our focus to the stationary Apple Mac mini equipped with an M2 chip (10-core GPU), featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage, along with several ports for connectivity.
Looking at smartwatches, the second generation Apple Watch SE is priced at $200 for the 40mm version in GPS, with the 44mm version costing $30 more. For LTE connectivity, an additional $50 is required for both versions.
Lastly, for those interested in trying out VR, the older Meta Quest 2 is available for $200. While the Quest 3 offers more features at a higher price, the Apple Vision Pro comes at a significantly higher cost in comparison.
