The official launch of the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ smartphones is happening today. Unlike the previous number series, this duo will be available globally right from the start, which is a departure from the China-first approach.
Set for noon in India (6:30 GMT), the launch will feature Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador, with at least one of the phones sporting a Rolex Submariner-like appearance, as teased in multiple advertisements.
The Realme 12 Pro will be unveiled as the first phone to feature a Sony IMX882 sensor, while the Realme 12 Pro+ will boast a 50 MP Sony IMX890 main camera and a 64 MP OmniVision sensor for the telephoto shooter with a periscope lens in front.
Leaked images have revealed that the Pro+ will come with a 6.7″ AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. We will keep an eye on the event and provide all the details as soon as they are announced on stage.
