The Magic V2 smartphone from Honor was first unveiled in China in July 2023 at an event. There was a promise of a European launch later, and the device was showcased at IFA Berlin without any information on pricing and availability.
After waiting for over four months since the European unveiling and having some hands-on experience with the device, Honor has finally scheduled a launch event for January 26 at 2 PM CET. This is where they will announce the price and availability of the Magic V2.
At its launch, the Magic V2 was the thinnest foldable smartphone and continues to hold that title even after six months. It is also slightly smaller when folded compared to the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, making it just as easy to carry as a regular flagship phone.
Aside from the folding screen, the Magic V2 also boasts a triple 50 MP camera, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 66W charging support.
The launch event is set to take place at the Porsche Experience Center in Leipzig, Germany. More details will be available after the event.
