Quaid-e-Azam had a sophisticated style and elegant taste in living, which we were privileged to witness through a glimpse of his personal car and other historically significant vintage beauties.

For those who share a passion for classic cars, get ready to explore German, American, and British historical vehicles all in one place in today’s blog.

Jinnah’s Rolls Royce

This Rolls Royce from 1947 has historical significance as it was originally built for Queen Elizabeth’s visit to the sub-continent but was later acquired by Quaid-e-Azam for personal use. This hand-built car, with unique inverse doors, was used by the first Governor General of Pakistan for daily commuting and features a preserved wooden interior, working tray, armrest, and sofa seats.

Jaguar E-Type

The 1966 model of the Jaguar E-Type, equipped with an in-line 4.2 engine, was available in a coupe and convertible version in the 60’s. With a cockpit-like wooden interior and a distinctive rear design, this car also had its roof lining restored with Alcantara. Its center-positioned exhaust adds to its unique exterior.

Corvette 1958

Moving on to the American vintage beauty, the 1958 Kawasaki Corvette with a manual transmission and V8 engine, this classic car was preserved in its original form with a red interior, antique speedometer, and non-conventional wheel arches.

Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

The Karmann Ghia resembles a Porsche and features a left-hand drive, red interior, 1300 CC engine, and manual transmission. It was originally driven by a lady working at the German embassy.
