Here are the initial CAD-based press renders of the Nothing Phone (2a), presented by @OnLeaks and SmartPrix.
This set of a Dark Gray Phone (2a) should be authentic, as opposed to the previous batch, which was proven to be fake.
The camera design corresponds with the ‘Fresh Eyes.’ teaser that was revealed with the phone’s announcement – happening on March 5th.
The renders uncovered the three-part Glyph interface surrounding the camera island and a ribbon cable running down the phone’s bottom.
The Nothing Phone (2a) has a flat frame with three metal buttons – a power button on the right and twin volume buttons on the left.
It’s been rumored that the two cameras on the back are the 50MP ISOCELL S5KG9 for the wide angle and the 50MP ISOCELL JN1 for the ultrawide. The front camera is said to be a 32MP unit.
The screen is expected to be a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the battery size is speculated to be 5,000mAh with a 45W charging. The phone’s dimensions are expected to be 161.7mm x 76.3mm x 8.55mm with a weight of 190g.
It has been confirmed that the Phone (2a) will debut with the custom Dimensity 7200 Pro chip, developed in partnership with MediaTek. It will be 18% faster than the Phone (1) equipped with a Snapdragon 778G, while consuming 16% less power. The Dimensity 7200 Pro is fabricated on TSMC’s second-generation 4nm process.
SmartPrix suggests that the Nothing Phone (2a) will start at a price under INR 25,000 (€280, £240).
