Last month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy AI features alongside the Galaxy S24 series. Now, the company has announced that some of these features will be available on its TWS earphones.

Samsung has deployed an over-the-air update in India, bringing the Live Translation and Interpretation features from the Galaxy S24 series to the Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Galaxy Buds2, and Galaxy Buds FE. The brand also confirmed that these two features are available on the Galaxy Buds as on-device features, meaning an active internet connection is not necessary to use them.

Samsung's Galaxy AI features come to Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Buds2, and Buds FE

The Live Translation feature enables users to view real-time call translation on the screens of the Galaxy S24 lineup when using Galaxy Buds, while Interpretation “provides a seamless two-way, face-to-face interpretation through the Galaxy Buds interface.”

In a statement, Samsung explained, “Users can simply speak into the Buds microphone, and their translated voice will be available via the Galaxy S24 series, enabling a natural conversation between two individuals, each with a Galaxy S24 series smartphone and Galaxy Buds, eliminating the need to hand over the phone and manage translated communication.

These Galaxy AI features are currently being rolled out for the Galaxy Buds in India through an OTA and are expected to reach other markets soon.
