Two months ago, the Samsung Galaxy A35 was shown in images. Today, the smartphone was found on Geekbench with an Exynos 1380 chipset and a 6 GB RAM option, as indicated by the benchmark scores.

The SM-A356U device achieved a score of 697 for a single core and 2,332 for multiple cores, which is a less than impressive result compared to another Galaxy A device with the same chipset. This is likely due to the fact that we are looking at an early prototype, and the raw performance will likely be improved by the time the phone is released.

Samsung Galaxy A35 pops up on Geekbench with Exynos 1380

Geekbench doesn’t often mention the chipset, but we know that it is the Exynos 1380 based on the motherboard’s model number, s5e8835, and the processor. The Galaxy A35 will have a CPU with 4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55, which is also used by the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy M54/F54.

The chipset was considered somewhat slow for a device of the A5x calibur, but we believe it will be well-suited for the more affordable Galaxy A35. The Samsung-built SoC should also make the new phone quite the upgrade from previous A3x devices, which only had a CPU with two performance cores.
