If someone tells you that memory is expensive, prove them wrong with the Poco X6 Pro. This phone comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for just £340. It’s powered by the Dimensity 8300 and features a high-quality 12-bit AMOLED panel with a 6.67” 120Hz 1,220 x 2,712px display. The phone also boasts a 64MP camera on the back with OIS, an 8MP ultra wide (120°), and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired-only charging.
Alternatively, you can also opt for the regular Poco X6, which is priced at £300 and also comes with 12GB of RAM, though with only 256GB storage. This version of the phone has the same display, camera, and battery as the Pro model, except it features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip with UFS 2.2 storage, as opposed to UFS 4.0 on the Pro. However, for just £40 more, the Pro version seems like a better choice.
For those on a budget, the Poco M6 Pro could be a good fit. Priced at just £230, this phone offers 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage, which Samsung would call a flagship configuration. It also has a microSD slot, though the storage is only UFS 2.2 and the phone is 4G-only due to the aging Helio G99 Ultra chipset. However, it does feature the same camera as the X6 duo (except for 4K video recording) and the same 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging. The display is slightly downgraded but still adequate for the segment, featuring a 6.67” 120Hz AMOLED panel (8-bit) with FHD+ resolution. It’s worth noting that all three Pocos have IP54 dust and water resistance.
Another option to consider is the Redmi Note 13 Pro, which is similarly priced as the vanilla X6 at £300, but with an 8/256GB configuration (UFS 2.2). It has the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip as the X6 and the same 5,100mAh battery with 67W charging. However, the Redmi Note 13 Pro stands out due to its impressive 200MP main camera with great in-sensor 2x zoom and decent 4x, as well as its 4K video recording capabilities and an 8MP ultra wide camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE is a viable option for £380, offering 5G connectivity, a roomy 12.4” LCD (60Hz, 2,560 x 1,600px), and support for DeX, S Pen, and video out over USB-C. Additionally, it features stereo AKG speakers and a microSD slot for entertainment, along with a 10,090mAh battery with 45W wired charging.
Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are available for just £80. These buds feature active noise cancellation, basic IPX2 water resistance and have a battery life of up to 21 hours with the case included.
