OnePlus made an appearance in New Delhi to reveal the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R to international markets. These two phones were first launched in China at the end of last year as the 12 and the Ace 3 so the specs are already known.

The OnePlus 12 comes with the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 – 30% faster CPU and 25% faster GPU compared to Gen 2, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The panel is a state-of-the-art 6.82-inch 1440x3168px LTPO 4.0 AMOLED with a 120Hz maximum refresh rate. It features a 4th generation Hasselblad Camera for Mobile, 3 different rear cameras, and a 32MP selfie camera. The phone also introduces a Dual Cryo-velocity VC Cooling System and an omnidirectional antenna design. The battery is 5,400mAh with 100W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging support. Users in North America will get a slightly slower 80W wired charger.

As for the OnePlus 12R, it is powered by 2023’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It also features a dual VC chamber and a 6.78-inch 1264x2780px LTPO4 AMOLED with a 120Hz maximum refresh rate. The battery capacity is 5,500mAh with 100W SUPERVOOC charging but no wireless option. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro sensor, and a 16MP selfie camera. The OnePlus 12R is IP64 rated for dust protection and splash resistance.

Both phones are available in a range of colors and memory options. The OnePlus 12 also introduced the Buds 3 to its overseas markets with dual-driver design and active noise cancellation up to 49dB. The Buds 3 are IP55 resistant and will go on sale in February.
