The new Google Gemini is an expanded version of Bard, now with a mobile app that is available in more regions, including Latin America, Africa, Asia Pacific, and Canada. The Gemini product lead, Jack Krawczyk, has confirmed plans to bring the service to Europe in the near future.

If you’re eager to try out Gemini, you can install the Gemini app on your Android device. Gemini is compatible with the Google Assistant language set to US English. However, it’s important to note that once Gemini is installed and set up, it will replace your Google Assistant.
On the other hand, Gemini currently lacks some basic features that were previously available on Google Assistant, such as the ability to set and edit alarms and reminders, launch apps, and control smart home devices. Despite this, Google has announced plans to continue developing Gemini, adding more features and fixing issues along the way.
