Google has just announced that the AI-driven features within Google Photos will now be accessible to all users of the app, without the need for a subscription. These features include Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Portrait Light.
Starting on May 15, these features will be available to all users, coinciding with Google’s annual developer conference on May 14. The rollout may take a few weeks after this date, as is customary for Google. These features will also be extended to more devices, including Pixel tablets.
Last year, the Magic Editor was introduced on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, utilizing generative AI for advanced edits with ease. This feature is now being made available to all Pixel devices with unlimited access.
Furthermore, all Google Photos users on Android and iOS will receive 10 Magic Editor saves per month. Beyond this limit, users will need a Pixel device or a Premium Google One plan with 2TB of storage or more.
