Recently, Google introduced Circle to Search for the Pixel 6 series and Pixel 7a, along with a future instant translation feature. This feature is now starting to roll out.
The translation occurs inline, with the translated text replacing the original text. To use it, you simply invoke Circle to Search and tap on the Translate icon that appears next to the Google bar. It’s a straightforward process.
Circle to Search is now offering in-line translation support! Last week, Google announced that a new button would allow instant text translation on screen, and this feature is now being introduced to select users.

As with any Google rollout, it’s uncertain how widespread the availability of this feature currently is. To use it immediately, you may need to have the latest beta Google app for Android and a compatible device that supports Circle to Search – such as Google’s Pixel 6 devices or Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series, S23 series, Z Flip5, or Z Fold5.
If you have a compatible device and haven’t received the translation feature yet, be patient as Google rollouts can take some time. The good news is that it’s on its way.
