Overview
The Poco X6 Neo is positioned as the budget-friendly option within the X6 series. Unlike its counterparts, the X6 and X6 Pro, which draw inspiration from Xiaomi’s Redmi lineup, the X6 Neo closely resembles the Redmi Note 13R Pro with a different branding. This review presents an opportunity to delve into the features of a device that shares similarities with another model we have not covered previously.
As the more affordable variant in the X6 series, the X6 Neo sacrifices some premium features present in its pricier siblings. Notable changes include a single main camera setup and a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor. Nevertheless, the device boasts a sleek design touted as the slimmest among Poco models, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and a 108MP camera with lossless 3x zoom functionality.
With a starting price of INR 15,999 (~$192), the X6 Neo presents a more budget-friendly option compared to the X6 and X6 Pro models. This review aims to explore what value consumers can expect from this lower-priced variant.
Unboxing Experience
Upon unboxing the Poco X6 Neo, users will find the device packaged in the signature black and yellow Poco box. The contents include the phone, a 33W charger, and a USB-A to USB-C cable.
Additionally, a black silicone case is provided, offering protection without adding significant bulk to the device. The case features a convenient cutout for the fingerprint sensor within the power button, enhancing ease of use. However, the flap covering the USB port may be slightly stiff. Furthermore, the case leaves a large opening around the camera section for aesthetic purposes, potentially exposing it to damage.
