iQOO recently marked its four-year anniversary in India, and to commemorate the occasion, the Indian division of iQOO launched the iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition. We had the opportunity to get our hands on one, so let’s dive into its features.

The iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition comes in a striking Desert Red color, packaged similarly to the iQOO 12 Legend and Alpha models. Inside the box, you’ll find a protective case, SIM ejector tool, charging cable, and a 120W power adapter.

Unlike the glass back panels of the iQOO 12’s Legend and Alpha versions, the Anniversary Edition features a faux leather finish. This not only enhances the device’s feel but also helps with grip and minimizes fingerprints.

iQOO highlights that the new leather rubbing process used for the Anniversary Edition’s back cover creates a unique texture resembling patterns found in the desert. Additionally, the iQOO logo on the rear now sports a metallic finish and reflects light, adding a touch of sophistication to the device.

The new finish has also contributed to the Anniversary Edition being 5.2 grams lighter than the standard version of the phone.
