Just two days earlier, Atlas introduced their all-new Honda CG125 2025. It was nothing new, just some sticker changes, and that’s it. For over 40 years, Atlas has been providing the same motorcycle without any new upgrades or changes. All they do is make some sticker changes and increase the price.

The irony is that the Pakistani public, instead of criticizing the Atlas, would rather buy that 80s vibrator machine at an overpriced rate. Indeed, Pakistanis love it so much that they are ready to pay a premium (ON) on the CG125. Today, we’ve confirmed it physically!

Honda CG125 2025 & ON

Today, the PakWheels team visited multiple bike dealers to find out the latest update on the Honda CG125 2025 model.  According to multiple Atlas dealers, there’s around Rs. 17,000 – 20,000 premium on the CG125 2025 model.  To be precise, it’s Rs. 20,000 in black and Rs. 17,000 in red. As per the dealers, hype is due to the recent launch and CG125 lovers want to buy it as soon as possible.

Furthermore, most dealers refuse to sell CG to customers because the demand is high and the supply is short. Even some big dealers who have the stock are charging more than Rs.20,000. People are willing to spend up to Rs. 255,000 to get the early version of the 2025 model, while the invoice price of CG is Rs.234,900.

PakWheels Point-Of-View

From our perspective, it’s just insane to buy a 1980s bike on the premium (own) when you already know that it’s the same exact bike with no single change besides stickers and graphics. No argument justifies buying the CG on the ON; it’s just the same thing as it was in 2023.

If you really need to buy this bike, buying an old 2020 or 2022 CG125 is a much wiser choice. First of all, the 2020-22 models will not have too much mileage on the meter, and they will be in good condition (you need to do some research in the market).

But spending Rs.20,000 more than the invoice price on a bike like CG125 is just an insane decision to make and a 100% waste of money!
