The Honor X9b will be available in India on February 15, and the company has unveiled a Protect Plan, which will be provided free of charge with every purchase of the mid-range phone.
This plan includes a one-time screen replacement, extended warranty, improved home phone service, and a guaranteed buy back. According to an official press release, the plan would cost INR2,999 ($36/€33) if bought separately.
The screen replacement is valid within the first six months of purchasing the phone and includes doorstep pickup and delivery for repairs at authorized service centers.
The Buy Back program allows users to return the device within 30 days and receive up to 90% of the invoice value, with certain conditions applicable.
The extended warranty extends the mandatory 12-month warranty by 6 months, providing 18 months of protection against manufacturing issues.
The phone is already available in other South Asian countries, while it is marketed as the Magic6 Lite in Europe. We have already received the device for review, and it seems to be a quality phone at a reasonable price of around €400.
