The locally produced Suzuki Every has been on the wish list of many Pakistani consumers for the past few years. This demand surged after a 2021 Lahore High Court directive to the Engineering Development Board (EDB) to mandate airbags in all new vehicles.
After a long wait, Pakistan Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) introduced the locally assembled Suzuki Every to the Pakistani market just two months ago.
Sales Figures
The initial market performance of the Suzuki Every was somewhat underwhelming, with only 262 units sold in the first month after its launch. This sale figure was disappointing but it was also too early to draw definitive conclusions about a vehicle’s long-term success based solely on a single month’s sales data.
However, the subsequent month witnessed a remarkable turnaround. November’s sales reported in the recent PAMA report figures revealed a staggering 148% increase, with 636 units sold.
Despite this promising start, Pak Suzuki will face stiff competition from established players like the Changan Karvaan. To sustain its momentum and regain market dominance, the company will need to continually innovate, offer attractive pricing, and implement effective marketing strategies.
Only time will tell whether the Suzuki Every can sustain its upward trajectory and become a long-term success story.
PSMC’s Overall Sales
As per the report, overall, Pak Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) sales decreased by 26%, selling 5,374 vehicles in November 2024 against 7,302 cars in Oct’24. Local car assembler sold 2,756 units of Alto, 179 units of Suzuki Cultus, 202 units of Suzuki Wagon R, 917 units of Suzuki Swift, 206 units of Suzuki Bolan, 636 of Suzuki Every and 478 units of Suzuki Ravi.
