Insiders have disclosed that Huawei is gearing up to release the Mate 70 devices in September. The goal is to coincide with the iPhone 16 announcement, positioning the flagships to directly compete, particularly in the Chinese market.
At the same time, there are reports indicating that Huawei has sold 30 million units of the Mate 60 devices since their surprise arrival in August 2023.

Multiple sources have indicated that Huawei is gaining momentum in its domestic market. Since Google services are banned in China, HarmonyOS phones, which lack them, are not at a disadvantage.
Rumors suggest that the Mate 70 will feature a 1”-type camera sensor and an improved front panel with slimmer and more uniform bezels.
