Honor reappeared in the Indian market in September with the launch of the Honor 90 after a three-year absence. The CEO of Honor India (aka HTech), Madhav Sheth, took to X to hint at the arrival of a new smartphone in India.

Sheth did not reveal the name of the smartphone, but the design suggests that it might be the X9b, which was unveiled last October. Honor has stated that the phone will “redefine what you can expect from a durable and reliable smartphone.”

The Honor X9b is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, runs on Android 13-based MagicUI 7.2, and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It features a 6.78″ 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen and a 5,800 mAh battery with 35W charging.
