Avatar 3 is set to release next year, but the 3D trend has waned since the first film came out. Nowadays, not many people have 3D-capable screens at home, let alone glasses-free ones. ZTE introduced the nubia Pad 3D last year with a glasses-free 3D display. Now, the company has unveiled a second-generation model with significant enhancements.
The nubia Pad 3D II claims to be the “world’s first 5G+AI eyewear-free 3D tablet.” It boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with 5G connectivity, a significant upgrade over its predecessor, which featured a Snapdragon 888 chipset without cellular connectivity.
The inclusion of AI technology addresses the lack of 3D content. The new Neovision 3D Anytime feature improves upon the previous model’s 2D-to-3D converter, offering enhanced capabilities for converting images, videos, and games into 3D.
A much improved glasses-free 3D display
The tablet features a 12.1” IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600px and a 144Hz refresh rate. Equipped with liquid crystal lenses, it promises an 80% increase in 3D resolution, double the brightness in 3D mode, reduced 3D crosstalk, improved 3D colors, and enhanced power efficiency.
With an 86° viewing angle, the tablet allows multiple viewers to experience the 3D effect simultaneously in both landscape and portrait modes.
The tablet can convert any 2D image to 3D – even one streamed from a phone
The tablet supports content streaming from other devices, enabling users to interact with 3D apps, images, and models wirelessly. It also features dual 13MP rear cameras and dual 8MP front cameras for capturing 3D photos and videos, facilitated by the new AI engine which improves photo quality.
The tablet is equipped with four DTS:X Ultra enabled speakers for immersive 3D audio and two noise-canceling microphones for enhanced sound quality.
The nubia Pad 3D II is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and a 10,000mAh battery
The tablet’s hardware includes LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and a 10,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
The nubia Pad 3D II is featured on ZTE’s official website, though details about the release date and price are yet to be announced.
This entrance is fabulous. The magnificent substance reveals the maker’s energy. I’m shocked and anticipate more such mind blowing sections.
