Recently, Google hinted at a new color option for the Pixel 8 Pro, set to launch on January 25. Following leaked press images, the new Mint color is now officially confirmed.
For US customers, the Mint color is exclusive to the Google online store and Google Fi, available for both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. According to Jenny Davis, CMF design manager at Google, the Mint color is described as “a breath of fresh air and a cool spring breeze. It’s serene, yet not boring. It’s a luminous color that really invites the mind into a state of calmness – energized calmness”.
The Mint color joins the existing options for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The specifications remain the same, and the new color was revealed in collaboration with street artist Ricardo Gonzalez, aka @itsaliving.
To celebrate the new color, Google had the artist paint over an existing Google Pixel billboard in New York City with the Mint color.
Customers who purchase a Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro in Mint by February 3 at 11:59 pm PT will receive a free case in a matching color.
