The latest budget-friendly smartphone to hit the Chinese market is the Vivo G2. With a Dimensity 6020 chip, a 90Hz refresh rate screen, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging, it shares similar specs to the vivo Y36i launched in December.

The device features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also includes a 5MP front-facing camera in a waterdrop notch cutout and a 13MP main camera on the back. Software-wise, it runs on OriginOS 3 based on Android 13, and the 5,000 mAh battery supports 15W charging.

Available in Space Black, the Vivo G2 is priced at CNY 1,199 ($168) for the 4/128GB model and goes up to CNY 1,899 ($267) for the 8/256GB model.
