Another major dealership has resigned from Proton Pakistan/Al-Haj Automotive, continuing the domino effect. It’s worth noting that five dealerships from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad have also resigned in recent months due to unprofessionalism, lack of delivery information, repeated price revisions, and other issues.

Latest Resignation

The most recent resignation is from Apollo Motors in Karachi, which cited unkept commitments, vehicle delivery delays, outstanding refunds, and dishonored cheques from Al-Haj Automotive as reasons for their resignation. The dealership stated that these actions have damaged the goodwill and reputation they built over three decades in the automobile sector.

Apollo Motors also informed its customers that all refund payments, pending deliveries, and other financial liabilities are the responsibility of Al-Haj Automotive, urging customers to visit their head office to resolve any queries.

These resignations are causing serious issues for the company and its customers, as they erode trust and credibility in the local market. Furthermore, the company has been unable to resolve delivery issues for its crossover SUV, even for customers who booked the vehicle in 2020.
