Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has disclosed that Apple is currently developing a foldable MacBook with a 20.3-inch screen, which is expected to be released in 2027. Kuo mentioned that this is the only foldable product from Apple with a definite timeline for development, as there are no plans to mass-produce foldable iPhones or iPads in the next couple of years.
This information aligns with previous reports suggesting that Apple had approached Samsung and LG for a 20.25-inch foldable panel, specifically for a laptop-style device. It is believed that Samsung Display is adjusting its production focus to accommodate Apple’s needs and future endeavors in the foldable technology space.
