These are not errors; we are not referring to the Nothing Ear (3). By removing the numbers, Nothing aims to focus on the product itself and the unique experience it offers to each user.
Nothing started its audio journey in 2021 and has continuously improved its design and engineering with each new addition to its audio product lineup. In 2024, the brand will unveil the ultimate Nothing Audio experience with two new products…

This decision may lead to confusion in the future, as multiple generations of earbuds could all be named Nothing Ear. It might become necessary to use the launch year to differentiate them, similar to how Apple products are sometimes distinguished.
The Nothing Ear (3) is now simply the new Nothing Ear, and it will be accompanied by the Nothing Ear (a), possibly as a more affordable alternative to the Nothing Phone (2a) in the company’s lineup.
Nothing is committed to providing a “premium for everyone” experience based on user preferences rather than market prices. We eagerly anticipate the launch of the Ear and Ear (a) and look forward to reviewing both products in the coming weeks.
