According to a new rumor, Apple is set to release upgraded versions of the iPad Pro and iPad Air within the next few weeks. It is speculated that there will be two versions of each model.
For the first time, Apple will offer the iPad Air in two different sizes, similar to the Pro. The new iPad Air will be available as an 11″ model, as well as a larger 12.9″ model, measuring 280.6 x 214.9 x 6 mm.
The upcoming 11-inch iPad Pro will have dimensions of 249.7 x 177.5 x 5.1 mm, slightly larger than the current model’s 247.6 x 178.5 x 5.9 mm. The new 12.9″ iPad Pro will also be slightly larger in length and width compared to the Air with the same screen size, but thinner due to the switch to OLED displays.
The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is expected to have dimensions of 281.5 x 215.5 x 5 mm, a significant decrease in thickness from the current model’s 280.6 x 214.9 x 6.4 mm. The new iPads are anticipated to launch by the end of March and may feature the M3 chip.
It is uncertain whether Apple will hold an event to release the new models, as press release-only launches have occurred in the past.
