Rumors have been circulating for some time about Samsung’s plans to release two models of the Galaxy Z Fold6 this year, with an expected announcement in the early to mid-July timeframe. There is speculation on whether we will see a Fold6 and a Fold6 Ultra, or a Fold6 and a Fold6 FE, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Adding to the confusion, a new rumor from China suggests that Samsung will introduce both a Galaxy Z Fold FE and a Galaxy Z Flip FE, complete with dimensions and chipsets for each device. It looks like things are about to get interesting.

Reportedly, the Galaxy Z Fold FE will measure 155.1 x 67.1 x 14.2 mm when folded, while the Z Flip FE will measure 165.2 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm when unfolded. The Flip FE is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, while the Fold FE will have a combination of Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets depending on the market, with the possibility of using the unreleased Exynos 2300 or the Exynos 2200.

Regarding memory, the Fold FE may come in 12GB and 16GB options, while the Flip FE is expected to have an 8GB variant. Both devices could offer storage options of 256GB and 512GB.

As with any rumor, it’s advisable to approach this information with some skepticism, especially considering the conflicting reports on Samsung’s upcoming foldable devices. While the possibility of Z FEs being released has been discussed previously, a lot could have changed since then. Rest assured, we will share more details as soon as they become available.
