Apple is currently developing the fourth iteration of the iPhone SE, and it has been confirmed that the upcoming device will feature an OLED display, marking a significant upgrade for this budget-friendly series.
Recently, leaked CAD renders of the new iPhone SE surfaced, revealing that the phone will adopt the design of the iPhone 14 (which closely resembles the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12) with a single rear camera setup.
While the front of the iPhone SE 4 mirrors that of the iPhone 14, the back design resembles that of the 2022 SE variant. The main uncertainty lies in whether Apple will retain the outdated 12 MP sensor or opt for a more advanced camera with Night Mode capabilities (which were absent previously).
These CAD renders lack an Action button or Mute switch near the volume keys, leading to speculation about their accuracy and Apple’s potential reasoning behind such omissions. Although the phone is anticipated to launch in 2025, there is a chance it could debut earlier given that industry insiders are already receiving information about the device.
