According to the release of the 7a, it is likely that the Google Pixel 8a will be launched in May, given the numerous recent leaks.
The most recent leaks include photos of the retail package, which reveal that the phone will come in black and support 27W charging (charger not included). The phone on the box matches the high-quality renders of the 8a that were revealed in October. These renders were the first of a series that also included the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro.
The design on the retail box also matches with live photos of the Pixel 8a that were leaked in September.
The Pixel 8a, model number G6GPR, will feature a dual camera at the back and will be powered by a slightly underclocked Tensor G3 chipset.
