Last week we observed a Geekbench score from the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G featuring a Dimensity 6100+ chipset, the same processor integrated with the Galaxy A15 5G. Both devices share many similarities, but leaked teaser images hint at some distinctions.
The major difference is that the F15 will come with a 6,000mAh battery (1,000mAh more than the A15). This matches the capacity of last year’s Galaxy F14 5G, which the new phone will replace. The associated battery was also recently certified. The phone is expected to support 25W charging through USB-C as well.

Samsung has promised 4 OS updates and 5 years of security patches for the phone, which is impressive for a budget device and a superior offering than the F14 received (which was only granted 2 OS updates and 4 years of patches).
Samsung Galaxy F15 5G: extended software support
The “Voice Focus” feature being highlighted has been a part of the Galaxy A and F series for a while now (since One UI 5.0). It improves your voice as well as the person you are speaking to in order to eliminate any background noise during calls.

Setting aside those elements, the Galaxy F15 5G is expected to sport the same 6.5” FHD+ 90Hz display with a 13MP selfie camera nestled in a notch like the A15 5G. Additionally, it will have a triple camera setup, likely comprising a 50MP primary shooter, a 5MP ultra wide lens, and a 2MP auxiliary camera (the F14 missed the ultra wide module). The base configuration is anticipated to stay the same as the F14 at 4/128GB.
The Galaxy F15 5G may be revealed on February 22, though no official confirmation has been received yet. By the way, Samsung is preparing a 4G version of the Galaxy F14, which should be introduced soon.
