The Samsung Galaxy A55 continues to be the subject of numerous leaks. It seems that new information about this device just can’t be contained. Previously, we’ve seen support pages go up for it, leaked promotional renders, cases being leaked, and even its reparability score being revealed. Today, we are getting the first live images of the upcoming device, and if you were hoping for major design changes, you’ll be disappointed, as it looks very similar to other Samsung models with the three individual circle-islands for the cameras.
However, there is one significant piece of information here, although it may not be immediately noticeable. The Galaxy A55 will be the first in the A5x line to feature a metal frame. The antenna lines are the clear indicator of this. As a result, the A55 will have an even more high-end look.

The phone is expected to have a triple rear camera system (50 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP), a 32 MP selfie camera, a flat frame with the new “key island” that raises the power and volume buttons for easier usability (which first appeared in the A15 and A25), 128/256GB of storage, and up to 12GB of RAM. The A55 will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1480 SoC, which comes with AMD graphics.
The A55 is expected to be officially announced in the coming weeks, as its predecessor was announced in mid-March last year.
