Hyundai Nishat’s 7th generation is another of the latest hybrid models car enthusiasts witnessed at PAPS 2024. It’s been a month or two, and the anticipation of revealing the new Elantra in Pakistan was swirling around in the market as its test units were spotted in Baluchistan. Afterward, days back, the company released a teaser image flaunting the interior of the car.
To clarify what features and specifications this new vehicle boasts and how it is different from the one released in the international market, below are the details featuring all the traits and technicalities of the new locally assembled Hyundai Elantra Hybrid.
Engine & Power
Elantra Hybrid has a smart stream 1.6L GDI Atkinson cycle 4-cylinder engine mated to a permanent magnet synchronous motor, producing a maximum power of 33kW/43hp and torque of 170 Nm. This system’s combined output is 139 hp and 264 Nm torque.
The newly unveiled vehicle is powered by a lithium-ion polymer battery with a capacity and power output of 1.32kWh and 42kW, respectively.
