Our expectation was for Honor to officially unveil the Magic6 RSR at MWC 2024, but instead, we were treated to a teaser video and the promise of a March announcement.
The teaser video showcases the unique design of the Porsche Design Magic6, emphasizing its “Flyline” accent. It also reveals details about the main camera’s dual aperture of f/1.4 to f/2.0 and the phone’s periscope zoom capability of up to 100x.
The Honor Magic6 RSR is essentially an enhanced version of the Magic6 Pro, featuring similar hardware specifications. This includes a 1/1.3″ 50MP f/1.4-2.0 main camera, a 1/1.49″ 180MP f/2.6 telephoto lens, and a 1/2.88″ 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide camera. For selfies, the phone will boast a 50MP f/2.0 front camera with a 1/2.93″ sensor.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with 16GB of RAM, a 5,600mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 66W wireless charging, and a 6.8-inch 1280x2800px LTPO OLED display capable of reaching 5,000 nits of brightness.
