Announcement of an announcement has been made by Nothing, revealing that the Nothing Phone (2a) will be unveiled on Tuesday, March 5.
The upcoming launch event is titled Fresh Eyes and the teaser image depicts silhouettes of eyes. Based on the limited information available, the shapes in the teaser image correspond with the rear camera arrangement on the Phone (2a), where the primary and secondary cameras are aligned horizontally and closer to the center of the back.

Referred to as Aerodactyl, the Phone (2a) is anticipated as a more budget-friendly option in the company’s lineup. Nothing asserts that the new model takes inspiration from the pricier Phone (2) while also serving as a “significant upgrade” over the Phone (1) in “every aspect”.
The company also recently unveiled its Glyph Developer Kit, which will grant developers access to the Glyph lighting on the back of Nothing smartphones.
