The Meizu 21 was released in late 2023, but the Pro version never made an appearance on stage. Reports from China indicated that the Meizu 21 Pro will be available in February and revealed some important features of the new phone.

The company, which is owned by car manufacturer Geely, will introduce a device with upgraded cameras, 16 GB RAM, and 1 TB storage.

The source indicated that the main camera will feature a 50 MP sensor. There will also be a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and periscope lens. In comparison, the regular Meizu 21 is equipped with a 200 MP main camera, 13 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5 MP sensor in-between the RGB light.

The 16 GB + 1 TB memory combination is an improvement over the standard version, which was launched with no more than 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of storage.

We anticipate a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and FlymeOS 10.5 that supports FlymeAuto 4.0 – the company’s in-car infotainment system compatible with the Geely Lynk & Co 08 electric SUV. The Meizu 21 Pro is expected to be priced higher than CNY3,999 ($560), as that is the current price of the basic Meizu 21.
